The Duchess of Cambridge proved that even public personalities do wear their clothes for the second time. This was the case when Kate Middleton appeared at the 2017 Gala Dinner for The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families at the Kensington Palace on Nov. 7, Tuesday.

The black lace gown by Diane von Furstenberg was first worn by the 35-year-old in 2014 at the Royal Variety Performance when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte. Both times, the Duchess of Cambridge managed to pull off the look while sporting a baby bump.

While many praised Middleton for her practicality despite her status, many took note of the similarity of her dress with one previously worn by "Suits" actress Meghan Markle in 2012. Markle is the girlfriend of Prince Harry, Prince William's brother. Markle's dress only differed in length, as hers was cut above the knee.

Middleton has long been known to be casual with her clothes, and she has proven numerous times that being fashionable does not always require shelling out too much. HuffingtonPost even made a list of clothes worn by Middleton that anyone could purchase at Zara or Topshop.

Meanwhile, the pregnancy of the wife of Prince William seemed to have limited her public appearances, as earlier reported. Middleton has been suffering from severe morning sickness, also called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. No announcement has been made on the gender of the baby, but fans are speculating that it would be a boy, based on Middleton's choices of clothes when the rumors started.

Despite her health issues, a source revealed that everything has been better for the royal wife. "She has such a rotten time during these early months. But she's out of the woods now and doing well," the insider added. This seemed to be true, as Middleton had been able to grace public appearances more frequently lately. The next addition to the royal family will arrive by April 2018, as announced by the Kensington Palace on Twitter on Oct. 17.
