Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, together with husband Prince William, honored their country by joining the annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London last Saturday, Nov. 7.

They were joined by other members of the Royal family, including the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, to celebrate the yearly event that honors fallen British soldiers and their families.

The Duchess was at the royal box the whole time, with the Queen and Prince Phillip.

During the ceremony, the Royals and other attendees listened to a touching speech given by an Afghanistan war veteran, who lost his sight after saving the lives of others from a blast.

The Duchess and her Prince were spotted at the balcony, witnessing the event and giving out their applause after the speech was delivered.

The following day, Middleton also made attendance at the Sunday service at Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, where she was joined by Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, OK! UK reported.

They were also joined by Prime Minister David Cameron, as well as Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.

With her appearance at the event last weekend, it's impossible not to notice how strikingly elegant the Duchess was with her outfits during that celebration.

The 33-year-old mother of two was seen wearing a Dolce & Gabbana knee-length lace dress with long-sleeves last Saturday. To add some accents, a red poppy was pinned to her dress.

After the Nov. 7 event, the Duchess was seen in another elegant ensemble — a black fitted coat adorned with three red poppies pinned together.

During the Cenotaph event, the Duchess spent two minutes of silence before the Whitehall memorial was decorated with remembrance wreaths.

The Royals united in paying respects to people who died from choosing to love their country and offering their lives in two World Wars and the many conflicts that followed since.
