Katy Perry gets real about plastic surgery in a recent interview. She shoots down rumors that she has undergone any procedure, as she defends people who have done it.

In an interview with Refinery29, the "Dark Horse" crooner once again shut down the never-ending rumors that she has repeatedly gone under the knife in the past years.

"I haven't had any," she told the media outlet.

She explained the only procedures she has undergone were lasers and fillers for her under eyes, which she said she would recommend to anyone badly in need of solutions for their dark circles.

"But all of my assets are real," she reiterates. "People tend to think they are fake, but it doesn't really matter."

Perry has always been a strong advocate of self-empowerment and being true to one's self. Still, she does not have anything against people who decided to undergo plastic surgery.

"We're getting away from that negative stigma about physical alterations," she begins. "If someone wants a nose job that makes them feel better, and they love their profile more because of it, it's like 'Go ahead!'"

Her advice to anyone thinking about going under the knife: "Do whatever makes you feel better about yourself."

In the same interview, the 33-year-old musician shared she is a victim of social media pressure, calling Instagram and Twitter the proof of the "decline of civilization."

With 108 million Twitter followers and over 68 million Instagram followers, it is hard to believe that Perry would rather live her life away from it all. But she does.

Perry says people's addiction to posing for photos is "not good for us as a society," adding that people should learn how to balance their real life and social media.

"I'm trying to find my own personal balance with it because I'm just as much a victim as everybody else," she shared.
