"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" returned on television screens on Sunday, Oct. 1. In the season 14 premiere of the show, Kendall Jenner talked about the controversial commercial she did for Pepsi. The model was not able to control her tears while opening up about her mistake.

Kendall was seen crying as she opened up about failing to see the offensive message that the commercial delivered to its viewers. At first, she thought she made the right decision to sign the contract with Pepsi because it was something monumental and iconic, as a lot of huge stars have done it before.

The 21-year-old reality star was voicing out her sentiments to Kim Kardashian and she was crying while telling her sister that she is not the type who would purposely hurt anyone. She also said that felt stupid for doing that commercial.

To recall, a lot of people were offended by the symbolism that the Pepsi ad delivered back in April, which was to not take issues like racism so seriously. The company has since apologized to the public and admitted that they missed the mark. They even apologized to Kendall for involving her.

It had been a stressful week for the Victoria's Secret model after the commercial was released, saying that she had been getting more bad news every five minutes. People continued to bash her participation in the politically charged campaign and it had been keeping her disoriented.

Kim tried to encourage her little sister by saying that it was her first time to be involved in a scandal and the only thing she can do is to stay real and honest. She added that Kendall needs to do that because she won't be able to ignore the backlash that resulted from the commercial.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season 14 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on E!
