Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole's collaborative album is allegedly being delayed again. This time though, the reports claim this is due to the latter losing interest in the project.

Cole has been very busy lately as his career continues to take off. Just recently, the "No Role Modelz" hitmaker filled the Ticketpro Dome in South Africa with 14,000 people who watched in awe as he performed on stage.

According to IOL, the crowd left the arena satisfied with the show put on by the rapper. Castle Lite brand manager Ramona Kayembe said in an interview with Eyewitness News that the demand for Cole was "overwhelming."

Cole is reportedly working on his fourth album as well, further fueling speculations that his album with Lamar is not coming anytime soon or isn't happening at all.

Cole's schedule is quickly being filled up and appears to struggle to find time to work on his long-rumored joint album with Lamar. Some reports claim that Cole simply lose the interest to do the collaboration.

The reports reflect what Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free told MTV earlier this year regarding the possibility of the Lamar-Cole album.

"Everything's a possibility, but [I am going to] say this, too: Kendrick and Cole are in a place in their careers and in their lives where they have to keep going," Free said at that time.

"Of course they're two of the biggest rappers out, but they still have to keep grinding. There's so much work that they have to continue to do," he continued.

Rumors about Lamar and Cole's album started going around back in 2012 when they were spotted working together in a recording studio.

Ever since, the artists went on to become two of today's hottest and most popular rappers, which may have contributed to the delay of Lamar-Cole joint album.

With Cole now working on a new album of his, his project with Lamar might have to wait.
