It looks like a little snooping around is in order in an upcoming episode in season 2 of "Kevin Can Wait."

The official synopsis of episode 3 of season 2, titled "Kevin Goes Nuts," reveals that Kevin (Kevin James) will go undercover after his boss Vanessa (Leah Remini) implied that his daughter Sara (Mary Charles Jones) has a secret boyfriend. This also means that he has to make sure his daughter does not find out about what he is really doing.

His son Jack (James DiGiacomo), on the other hand, will attempt to fit in once again by looking for a unique illness of his own. This comes after a group of kids who had peanut allergies discovered that he was just faking his allergy.

Meanwhile, the show earned an amount of backlash regarding the sudden departure of Erinn Hayes, who plays Donna Gable. Donna was killed off during the season 2 premiere and fans were not happy about it.

It was revealed that Donna passed away a year before the events of the current season premiere. The death was done off-screen.

Remini defended the show's decision, and even responded to some angry fans' tweets regarding Donna's exit on Twitter. One fan wrote that they were disgusted with the show and went on to say that they hope the second season gets canceled. Remini then replied to the tweet asking the fan how they really felt and that they seem to be sugar coating it.

Other fans online pinned the blame on her for Hayes' exit, but Remini explained that she was not in the position to make the decisions in the first place.

The actress also defended Hayes when some thought her departure was a good thing. Remini responded that she was looking forward to working with her and then pointed out that Hayes is currently working on another show in Amazon.

She also refused to answer the fans' questions about the real reason why Donna passed away since she is not the writer nor producer of the show, but she did admit that it would be a good idea to answer that question as the season goes on.

"Kevin Can Wait" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
