Looks like another dynamic duo is set to make a comeback.

Mark Millar, creator of the comic book about "Kick-Ass," is teasing something big about Kick-Ass and Hit Girl. In his Twitter account, the comic book genius has been saying that there's a big announcement about the two teenagers turned crime fighters.

"Kick-Ass" was originally a comic book about the story of a teenager name Dave Lizewski, who sets out to become a superhero and eventually partner with Hit Girl, a young girl trained in martial arts and weaponry who has donned the cape since she was a child.

The comic book was eventually turned into two live-action adaptations. Both the films and the comic books are remembered for having a lot of violent and bloody scenes which were praised by fans for being realistic in a superhero story.

Even though some of his tweets include pictures of actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Moretz from the "Kick-Ass" film franchise, it is still not clear if his news has something to do with the much-anticipated third installment of the film or the fourth series of the comics.

However, one possibility that's connected to Millar's announcement is Netflix adapting his comics. Back in August, Netflix bought Millarworld, the publishing house founded and run by Millar himself, with the streaming giant bringing his myriad of work to life through films and television series that will be exclusively available to Netflix. This could be a viable option to finally shoot the third "Kick-Ass" film and even the reported prequel about Hit Girl's beginnings as a caped crusader.

Fans of the comics will be thrilled about it if this news is true. The only snag that Netflix may encounter is they are going to shoot a film or a TV series and decide to recast the characters. That might not sit well with the fans since Taylor-Johnson and Moretz gave pretty good performances.
