It seems that despite the current crisis that has been plaguing a lot of torrent sites, a lot of users are still hopeful that the most famous ones among the bunch — The Pirate Bay, Kickass Torrents, and Torrentz.eu — will still push through. However, recent reports are saying that torrent users should go to TPBClean and Torrentz.ht instead when in need of files to torrent.

According to Game N Guide, despite the fact that the three aforementioned torrent websites are being plagued by multiple shutdowns by government agencies, their popularity is still undented. Kickass Torrents and Torrentz.eu are currently facing legal issues, and as such, the disappearance of these websites have greatly affected a lot of people. However, The Pirate Bay is still considered as the top torrent websites despite the government crackdown.

Meanwhile, the Parent Herald reports that there is still no concrete evidence that the government is doing its utmost to stop the operations of The Pirate Bay and other websites. Still, there might be a much bigger threat to the popular torrent website since it is possible that both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are flagging The Pirate Bay as well as other similar websites as a phishing site.

What this means is that access to the website will be restricted due to the fact that these websites are allegedly stealing user information. However, it is not the first time that the website was shut down because of this, but nevertheless, a lot of users were rather enraged when they were unable to access the download page of the website.

Also, the worry that the creators of The Pirate Bay will also be apprehended, arrested, and jailed is palpable, since it happened to the owner of Kickass Torrents recently.

Regardless, fans should just stay tuned for more information about these torrenting sites.
