Many torrent users were left appalled when the most used torrent website — Kickass Torrents — was shut down earlier this year. Because of Kickass Torrents' downfall, other torrent sites such as The Pirate Bay has risen to the top of the torrent website foodchain and has become the most used torrent website today.

Unfortunately, The Pirate Bay's reign might just come to an end as the new Kickass Torrent website regains its users through its new operating domain.

Due to The Motion Picture Association of America's (MPAA) efforts at shutting down torrent websites as a part of their movement against piracy, the renowned Kickass Torrents was shutdown last July, even leaving its owner Artem Vaulin with a prison sentence.

During Kickass Torrents' absence, other torrent websites such as The Pirate Bay, TPBClean, and Torrentz.eu has attracted former Kickass Torrents users by offering similar torrent features. As of today, The Pirate Bay has seen most of the previous Kickass Torrents users.

However, a large number of torrent users still favor the late Kickass Torrents over the alternatives available today. What's more is that The Pirate Bay might also be shutdown due to copyright infringement.

Fortunately for avid torrent users, there are news that the late Kickass Torrents is now back and operating under a new domain, all thanks to the Kickass Torrents community.

Torrent users can now access the Kickass Torrent mirror under the domain http://kat.how.

On another note, members of the Kickass Torrent community are pushing for the right to keep their website from being shut down. The new Kickass Torrent domain is now trying to gain signatures for their online petition at change.org. What's more is that the new site is also spreading awareness about Artem Vaulin in the hopes of freeing the Kickass Torrent founder from prison.

Eating - and eating together - is never a side note in the biblical story. It is one of the ways God forms community, renews covenant, and reveals Himself.
