Shortly after Christmas, Hollywood personality Kim Kardashian revealed what gifts she received from her husband Kanye West. As it turns out, Kanye invested a significant sum of money in major companies, including Amazon, Disney, Adidas, and Apple. Kim shared the news to her fans on her social media page, which currently has millions of followers.

In the Instagram story that Kim shared, she first revealed that she was given some socks from Adidas, a Mickey Mouse toy, Apple Airpods, as well as gift cards from Netflix and Amazon. However, later on in the story, she revealed that these are mere representations of Kanye's actual gifts, which are stock certificates -- proof that Kanye actually invested in the major companies, and put Kim as the named owner of the stocks.

It is estimated that Kanye invested more than $200,000 in these stocks. The common denominator of these particular companies is that they all earned a tremendous amount of money in the year 2017, which is probably what prompted Kanye to invest in them in the first place. 

Kim was very pleased with her gifts, and even put in the caption "best husband alert!" to signify how touched she was with Kanye's gifts. She described the Christmas gesture as "sweet." Kanye invested 920 points in Disney, which is estimated to be around $100,000, and invested about 995 points in Adidas. Kim did not reveal how much stocks Kanye invested in Amazon and Apple.

Given that these stocks are Kim's now, they are hers to do with as she pleases. Not many people receive stocks for Christmas, or at any other point in their lives. On Kanye's part, the gesture is considered to be a very thoughtful one considering that Kim is already very wealthy. After all, it is difficult to think of a gift to give to someone who has everything.
