Players of "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" will have their hands full with a more than a kingdom to explore, as the developers of the game have revealed gameplay and story details for the upcoming medieval roleplaying game (RPG).

Public Relations (PR) Manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling from the development studio of "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" has revealed in an interview that the game will be a definitive medieval RPG simulator, where players will experience what it is like to live in 14-century Europe. The game is set to take place in a 16 square kilometer map, which would definitely require a horse in order to fully explore.

This map would then be home to as much as a thousand points of interest scattered all throughout, with different quests ranging from chasing bandits to smithing weapons and armor. Based on the preview accolades trailer for the upcoming game, the story will revolve around a revenge plot, with the protagonist or player character hunting down the man who murdered his parents and getting back a stolen family heirloom in the form of a sword.

What makes "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" unique as an RPG is that apart from being historical and realistic with no fantasy elements, the game will also not be utilizing a GPS system, a minimap, or question marks and arrows over some of the non-player characters (NPCs). Instead, players will have to take their time and interact with the game world. The combat will also be a lot more realistic compared to other swashbuckling RPGs, where proper sword strokes and attack angles should be observed in order to come out of a battle alive.

One thing to note is that "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" is actually a crowdfunded indie game, and it was all made possible through the financial efforts of its player base.

The fruits of their labors will come out in full glory once the game gets released on Feb. 13, 2018, for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
