Director Tetsuya Nomura might have said that more details about "Kingdom Hearts III" will be shared after "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" comes out in January 2017, but apparently, some story details have already been revealed thanks to the packaging of Square Enix's Play Arts Kai Sora action figure. Twitter user ArikaMiz was kind enough to share a screenshot of the packaging.

By the looks of it, the final struggle is about to begin. The packaging reveals that things are going Master Xehanort's way, but the heroes are not giving up.

"To counter the overwhelming darkness, Sora and his friends must gather the seven guardians of light. His best friend Riku and King Mickey seek out a battle-scarred Keyblade wielder, while Sora, Donald, and Goofy set off on a journey to find 'the Key to Return Hearts.'"

The plot summary does not exactly drop any hint about the new characters that are going to appear in the game. It was straightforward and concise. So, is the packaging legitimate or is this some sort of elaborate hoax? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, evil Baymax seems to be extremely popular right now in the rumor mill. The rumor is based on a concept art for "Kingdom Hearts III" that was shared by SlashFilm owner and editor Peter Sciretta on Twitter. Admittedly, the image is over a year old, but some decided to come up with a theory that the lovable healthcare robot may be evil in the upcoming game.

Yes, the inclusion of the "Big Hero 6" world in "Kingdom Hearts III" has been confirmed; however, no one connected to the game has ever said that the Baymax that's going to appear in "Kingdom Hearts III" is going to be evil. The person who posted the concept art didn't say that either. Right now, this is just a theory and readers are advised to take it with a grain of salt.
