The Japanese anime "Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World" is based off a light novel series by Keiichi Sigsawa and Kouhaku Kuroboshi. Being one of the latest addition to Crunchy Roll, fans and audiences alike are still deciding on whether the remake is worth watching compared to the episodes that had already been released back in 2003. Now that episode 1 is out, what can fans expect moving forward in the series?

In a report by Crunchy Roll, the site had already revealed the full list of stories from Sigsawa and Kuroboshi that fans of the light novels and anime can expect in the next episodes. It was previously unclear on whether which volume will be tackled for the second episode, since the list was not in any particular order. In the first episode, Kino and her motorcycle Hermes travelled to a country wherein it is legal for people to kill.

The other volumes slated for the anime are roughly translated to be "Coliseum" and "The Country of Adults," which can be found in the first volume of the light novel. According to Manga Tokyo, the next episode is entitled "Coliseum," which means that the first volume in the light novel will be up next. However, it is still unclear if the series will be proceeding chronologically from now on.

That story was the fifth volume in the light novels, which proves the fact that the anime will not strictly be following the light novels chronologically. However, it is also important to note that Sigsawa and Kuroboshi intended for each of Kino's stories to stand on their own especially since the whole point of the story is what Kino learns about life as she travels in different countries with varying cultures and customs.

"Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World" episode 2 will air on Oct. 13 at 9 a.m. EDT on AT-X.
