Kristen Stewart's fans lash out at Robert Pattinson's new girlfriend, FKA Twigs, with racist comments

Singer Tahliah Barnett, popularly known as FKA Twigs, has been bombarded by racist abuse online.  The harsh posts are reportedly coming from the fans of her boyfriend Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, as well as from the avid followers of the "Twilight" love team.

FKA Twigs was allegedly targeted after her relationship with the "Twilight" star went public last week after a month of dating.  After receiving a number of hurtful comments – some bordering on racism – from bashers in her social media accounts, she has finally decided that "enough is enough."

"Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online," the "Ultraviolet" singer tweeted.  "I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week."

The 26-year old performer hurled out at the racist bashers, and posted an image of herself in Instagram in black-and-white, celebrating her half-Jamaican, half-Spanish heritage, loud and proud.  The photo was captioned "Arrow Jamaica Latina bambina."

Not surprisingly, the photo continued to receive negative criticism, but some netizens were at her rescue.

"Can't believe people actually came on here to be mean and nasty and disrespectful. If you don't like her, stay away," one fan wrote.

Pattinson and FKA Twigs were allegedly seen together cuddling and holding hands in several occasions.

Rumors spread like wildfire when Pattinson, who has moved on from his previous relationship with Stewart, is reportedly taking the relationship to a whole new level as he is said to be pondering about proposing to his new girlfriend, to which he has "never felt this way about any girl before, even Kristen Stewart."

"They connect on music, which is something that Rob keeps pretty close to his heart," a source told Us Magazine. "A lot of his close friends are musicians. He loves her voice, he loves her sense of style as well, how unique she is."
