This has been the question on the insider's minds that has been following the marital drama between National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar Carmelo Anthony and TV actress La La.

The couple who have been separated for a while now has not finalized their divorce. While everyone is wondering whether they would get back together or not, La La has been on a journey of enjoying the perks of the single life.

The TV actress recently went to Ludacris' birthday party in Paris. Even if both La La and Carmelo Anthony are working on repairing their marriage, this is not stopping the actress from making herself the priority after her split from her husband.

A source close to La La told HollywoodLife.com, "Carmelo is basically at her beck and call whenever she wants him and when she wants her space she takes it. She left Carmelo in New York with their son." The source added that "She just wanted to be with her friends and this is the first time La La is living for herself."

While the couple might be on their way to making a positive resolution, the actress is still keeping her cards close to her chest. With the new season on her show "Powers" which airs on Starz, her denim line launch at Lord & Taylor and her son, 10-year-old Kiyan going back to school, she said she is much more discerning on how she spends her down time.

She told Page Six during Rihanna's Diamond Ball at Cipriani Wall Street that "There's no way that I was missing this ball tonight." She further added that it was for a good cause and supporting such was amazing. She went on to talk about having real friendships and said that because of these real relationships with her friends, they were all out here supporting each other's works, events, and important milestones in their lives.
