Despite being moved to avoid conflict with the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Weekend, the Feb. 8 deadline for trades is fast approaching. Possible trade-outs for the LA Lakers include Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, Luol Deng and Larry Nance Jr.

Julius Randle has reportedly been blocked off since the start of the season and will be a restricted free agent by the season's end, making his market standing tough to gauge, though there are reports of him being eyed by a few teams including his hometown's team, the Dallas Mavericks.

Luol Deng may also be a target for trade as the Lakers need some sort of salary relief, and Deng is currently projected at $18 million per season for the next years. Deng himself has also expressed his desire to leave the LA Lakers.

Jordan Clarkson is allegedly being eyed by the Cleveland Cavaliers for a trade-in. Clarkson would be an interesting fit, and an asset to their inconsistent guard rotation. However, Clarkson had signed a four-year, $50-million contract in 2016 and is still under contract for two more seasons.

Larry Nance Jr. may be surprised at rumors of him being on the trade block, though it does not come as a surprise for NBA fans who have been following the LA Lakers. Not too long ago, his name was included in rumors of the Lakers trade block.

The Lakers have big plans for this year and are looking to clear enough cap space to bring in at least two long-term contracts. While they may look into getting stars like LeBron James, that may not be needed if they are bringing in a core that includes Lonzo Ball.

A strong pick and favorite in recent Lakers trade-in rumors and predictions is Anthony Davis. Anthony Davis would be a good fit for the Lakers and will help the team return to play-off contention. Recruiting Davis would also give free agents more reason to sign with the Lakers next summer.
