The Los Angeles Lakers seem to have joined the fray in the ongoing trade talks with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Sacramento Kings.

While it has been rumored that the Cavs' Kevin Love is ready to be traded off to a number of teams including the Celtics and the Kings, it seems that the three teams may agree to trade players for their mutual benefits.

A report by Inquistr hints that if the three-team trade deal pushes through, the Lakers may end up with power forward Love, DeMarcus Cousins could be sent to the reigning championship team in Cleveland and D'Angelo Russell may find a new home in Sacramento.

Apart from Russell, the Lakers may be asked for another young player in addition to their young point guard.

Based on rumors, Cavs point guard Kylie Irving has been talking to Cousins a lot during team USA's run for the gold in the 2016 Olympics and convincing him to join him in Cleveland so if this proves to be true, there may be some merit to the rumors making its rounds.

Another report by the Centrio Times suggests that the Lakers may also be looking at other trade options with the Denver Nuggets.

According to the report, because the Lakers are in need of veterans to steer their team of young talents, they are willing to give up Nick Young and Julius Randle to get Nugget's power forward Kenneth Faried and shooting guard Gary Harris.

The two vets are expected to lead the team to a better performance next season after the team struggled in the wake of Kobe Bryant's retirement.

Young and Randle, on the other hand, have the potential to further sharpen their skills on the court under the guidance of Nuggets head coach Michael Malone.
