Lady Gaga new album release news: Singer collaborates with Elton John, Mark Ronson

It's been a while since Lady Gaga put out new music but at long last, the two-year album drought the little monsters have been experiencing since the release of her most recent studio album "Cheek to Cheek" will finally come to an end.

For her new album, Lady Gaga, who recently won a Golden Globe award for her performance in "American Horror Story: Hotel," will be collaborating with various artists. For starters, music legend Elton John is on board and is writing songs with the singer.

"I've heard two songs, which are killer. They're just great songs," John gushed about Lady Gaga's upcoming album.

"It's like back to the early stuff of hers," he teased, comparing the music to her previous hits like "You and I" and "Bad Romance," which he prefers to call "the Bruce Springsteen one."

Back in 2014, Lady Gaga collaborated with Tony Bennett for her album "Cheek to Cheek" that she said helped her bounce back from her 2013 album "Artpop," which EW said was a bit of a flop.

"[Bennett] is responsible in so many ways for making me happy, and I can say the same for Elton [John]," Lady Gaga told Billboard regarding her confidence in her collaboration with John.

Apart from the "Rocket Man" singer, fans would love to know that the new Lady Gaga album will also have a bit of Mark Ronson in it. The "Uptown Funk" hitmaker revealed in an interview with The Standard that they "worked together in London."

Needless to say, the DJ had nothing but praises for Lady Gaga. "I think she's incredibly talented and kind of a muso at heart beyond all the giant pop hits. I would love to work some more with her -- she's an incredible singer-songwriter," Ronson stated.

Lady Gaga first revealed her album plans during her win in the Golden Globes although she was coy about when it will be released. It is believed, however, that new music from the pop sensation will be heard at some point this year.
