Former National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Lamar Odom is out of the hospital and his wife, reality star Khloé Kardashian, spoke about his progress in Wednesday's guesting on ABC's "Good Morning America."

"He's doing really well. He's finally out of the hospital. He's doing great. But, you know, it's a long journey and it's something that he's working really hard on. Every day is every different. We take every day as it comes. I've learned not to really look into the future too much. I try to live every day as it comes" Kardashian shared on the show, according to E! Online.

"2016 is a good year. My talk show [Kocktails With Khloe] is coming out. We're leaving all the hospital stuff in 2015, and this year, it's going to be really positive," Kardashian added.

According to E!, the interview was the first time Kardashian spoke about Odom on live television since the incident.

Last October, Odom was found unconscious in a brothel and was hospitalized, being put on life support before regaining his consciousness.

The 36-year-old former NBA player suffered kidney complications and a number of strokes before being transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles.

In everything Odom went through since being overdosed, Kardashian has remained by his side and helped him, still expressing support to the ex-NBA cager until now.

Meanwhile, in an interview with SiriusXM, Kardashian was very candid and said she asked Odom to never go back in a "disgusting" brothel, to which Odom promised he will not do again.

Odom is a two-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers and last played in the league in 2012–13 season for the Los Angeles Clippers, the team that originally drafted him in 1999.

Along with Los Angeles' teams, Odom also had playing stints with the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks.
