Lamar Odom's road to recovery might be long, but he seems to be slowly getting there.

One week after the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball star was found unconscious by staff of the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada, several sources claim that Odom's health condition is improving day by day after he woke up from a four-day coma.

In an interview with CNN's "New Day,"  Odom's college coach Jim Harrick revealed that the former NBA star's health is getting "a little bit of progress." He added that he and the 35-year-old's family and friends became more hopeful that the fallen athlete will recover after they have been on the edge for days.

Odom was reportedly on this third day at the Pahrump, Nevada brothel when staff found him lying unconscious in his room. The staff called 911 when he began spitting pinkish liquid.

Reports claimed that the former Lakers player took herbal Viagra during his stay at the Love Ranch, but other rumors claimed that he had been taking cocaine during his binge partying.

Another source told E! News that Odom can now move his arms and legs but he still cannot stand up even when assisted. He will also be transferred to a Los Angeles hospital to continue his medical treatments after being confined at Nevada's Sunrise Hospital for a week.

According to the exclusive report, Odom's medical team is currently planning the logistics of his transfer to a still-unknown hospital in Southern California since his health status will still be a problem if he will be airlifted using a helicopter. This means that he could go on a private medical flight anytime soon.

The source also mentioned that Odom's recent CT scan came out clean, but he could still have several cognitive problems in the future. A different source, on the other hand, told People that his kidneys might have the biggest damage due to the incident.

"[Lamar's] kidneys have been very damaged and there is talk about him needing a transplant down the road, but that's a long way off," the source stated. "That's been one of their biggest worries in the past few days, that his kidneys could fail."
