Did Taylor Swift land a guest spot in "Law and Order: SVU?"

The multi-awarded singer has been very vocal about her fascination for the long-running police procedural series spin-off. She even named her cat Olivia Benson based on the role of actress Mariska Hargitay in the series. But will the "Bad Blood" singer/ songwriter finally see herself portraying a role in her favorite crime and legal drama?

Hargitay teased about this possibility in her recent interview with ET Online. According to the actress, Swift could join the show if her hectic schedule would permit it.

"We just talked about it," Hargitay shared. "We're going to wait until the end of the [1989 World] tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air."

But while Swift is currently in the middle of a big world tour, which will end sometime in December, series producer Warren Leigh still came up with alternative ways to incorporate her in the series.

"We're thinking of naming a squad room cat Taylor," the executive producer said.

If she does appear in "Law and Order: SVU," it will not be the first time that she will guest star in a show on the small screen. She had a cameo in the 2009 episode of "CSI" titled "Turn. Turn. Turn." She also appeared as herself in "New Girl" and "Saturday Night Live."

But aside from the Grammy Award-winner, other guest stars will also appear in the 17th season of "Law and Order: SVU," including "Sideways" star Virginia Madsen who will appear as Det. Rollins' (Kelli Giddish) mother in episode 6, as well as "Orange Is the New Black" star Adrienne Moore in episode 2. Also, "The Good Wife" star Dallas Roberts will appear as a Robert Durst-inspired murderer in the two-part season premiere of the series, while "House of Cards" star Elizabeth Marvel will be seen in the premiere as well.

"Law and Order: SVU" season 17 is slated to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 23, on NBC.
