Is there anything a mother wouldn't do for her child? In the upcoming episode of "Law and Order: SVU," the clear answer is no.

Last week, a female victim was the subject of threats from the gaming community when she launched the game she created. This week, the victim is also a young female but this time, the team will move on from solving a case at a game convention to the underground world of sex trafficking — another very relevant issue today.

In episode 15 titled "Undercover Mother," actress Lili Taylor plays the role of Martha Thornhill, a mother who is looking for her long lost daughter Ariel. Martha believes that Ariel has been forced to work in a prostitution ring and she wants to find and rescue her.

In the episode, Martha goes undercover as a sex Madame in the hopes of finding Ariel from the inside of the organization. She's been working there for three years, but still, there's no sign of Ariel. Here's the official synopsis of "Undercover Mother:"

"A mother will risk everything to rescue her daughter from an underground sex ring. Working undercover to bust a sex trafficking ring, Det. Carisi will stumble upon Martha Thornhill, a mother who has embedded herself as a Madame in the organization for three years in hopes of finding and saving her daughter, Ariel."

Martha has to explain herself to the SVU team as to why she embedded herself in the organization and why the SVU should help her. Would they find and rescue Ariel?

Further, Sgt. Benson has to deal with a personal issue. According to the synopsis, she "will get confronted with a harsh revelation that will change her life forever." What could that be?

"Law and Order: SVU" will air "Undercover Mother" on Feb. 18 on NBC. In the meantime, check out the preview for the next episode.
