"Law & Order: SUV" will have an action-filled premiere and is titled "Terrorized." Lt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and the team will be handling a dangerous case where they have to act fast in order to prevent a mass killing.

The synopsis for the upcoming premiere reads: "A young boy is found wandering alone in Central Park and the search for his parents leads to startling evidence of a planned mass casualty event in the city. As the SVU works with the joint-terrorism task force to find the suspects and the motive, Lt. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) must also convince Barba (Raúl Esparza) to address allegations of rape and torture the boy's mother discloses."

Fans waiting for the new season to start will not be disappointed. The upcoming premiere is what the fans are hoping for. It tells a story that goes beyond what can be seen, with the team tackling the underlying reason before the issues go beyond repair.

Meanwhile, fans were able to notice that the upcoming premiere only contains a one-line title, which last happened during the early portion of season 2. Incidentally, it is also the first one without writer Warren Leight, who left last season. Leight got the habit of creating two-word titles for the series. Rick Eid, the veteran franchise writer, took the place Leight vacated and is now working with Julie Martin, the current showrunner, Vine Report previously reported.

Meanwhile, Hargarita thanked U.S. Vice President Joe Biden on social media. She tweeted, "The depth of the @VP's integrity, commitment, and leadership has come to mean so much to me, to our community, and to survivors. There are no words for the @VP's commitment on these issues. I am so very fortunate to be able to call him my friend. "

The Vice President of the country will be a guest star for the series in support of Hargaritay's campaign against domestic violence.

"Law & Order: SVU" season 18 premieres on Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC network.
