'League of Legends' Nemesis Draft update: Game available on public beta environment

Nemesis Draft is now ready for playing under the PBE mode.Facebook

Riot Games officially opened the Nemesis Draft game mode for "League of Legends" on the public beta environment (PBE), which means that players can now enjoy the new mode in its popular multiplayer online battle arena game after it was announced last week.

According to the game's official website, Nemesis Draft is a five-versus-five game mode that is set on the Summoner's Rift. It allows players to choose the champions who will fight for the enemy team instead of choosing their own and vice versa. This could lead to some very interesting drafts containing five characters for each team.

The champions selected for the rival team can be picked from the roster that is available for their allies, then the gamers have to play using the character that was chosen for them even if they are not the real owners.

In addition, the teams can still ban up to a total of three champions to maximize their advantages, as well as trade the players between themselves once all the champions have been chosen.

According to the game developer, "We've paid special attention to the champion select phase this time, to make the picking & trading phases as clear as possible, so feedback on that flow will be welcome. Also 'Thanks!' again to you PBE guys that always help us catch things early. Even if we can't respond to every bug or report individually, we do read EVERYTHING and fix as much as possible."

This means that the success of the player depends on how cunning and strategic they are. It can also be a fun, new way to play the game, as long as all the players can go along with the scheme.

The duration of the beta testing phase of the Nemesis Draft game mode is still undisclosed, but players can hope that Riot Games will decide to release it to the public once the current players prove that this unusual concept is acceptable.
