Lebron James could be embarking on a new career soon, although it is unlikely to keep him off the hardwood.

Already a star in the NBA, James will join the likes of Michael Jordan, Shaquille O' Neal, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as he tries his hand at acting after the King and Warner Bros. announced a partnership that would see the Phenom in film, TV, and digital content mediums soon.

The truth is that James has already started appearing in movies. The most recent one is "Trainwreck" where James made a good impression and drew praises from critics as far as his acting is concerned.

James appeared as himself in the movie, portraying a comedic side of himself opposite creator and lead actress Amy Shumer. Below is a sample clip from the said movie.

In all, James seemed pretty comfortable with his role. In fact, it seemed that James had been appearing and acting ever since. So could there be more films starring the NBA star?

It appears that a film that basketball fans want to see is Lebron James appearing on "Space Jam 2."

The original "Space Jam," of course, hit theaters way back in 1996 and starred Michael Jordan along with the Looney Tunes characters. So can James do better? Well apparently many fans believe he can.

It seems ironic that James may soon be compared to Jordan once again. So as it appears, Jordan will be James' yardstick. It makes you wonder if Lebron would be interested in becoming a baseball player as well.

Whether there is a comparison or not, Space Jam 2 will happen, although there is no official release date. The sequel was actually announced in February, 2014. James was originally mentioned to star in the movie, although he denied any involvement in it.

With the new partnership, such could be a different case now.

And as one would expect, in comes the bashers who don't want Lebron James to star in the show. Whether you hate Lebron or not, you have to give him credit that he is a natural when it comes to acting.
