There is hardly any official word at all about "Left 4 Dead 3," leaving many in the dark about what to expect, but there are now rumors online giving people an idea of what might be coming in a new release.

First off, players will see an interesting timeline of events in "Left 4 Dead 3," according to an anonymous source being used by Segment Next.

According to their unnamed tipster, the game will reportedly allow players to see the events right from the very start of the infection and then also get to look at how things have changed a month later.

The blending of timelines could certainly provide an interesting look at the game at least from the perspective of the players.

The website's anonymous source also went on to name the four new survivors for "Left 4 Dead 3."

First up is Irvin, an African-American character who, the source says, will be the de facto leader of the group. The muscle of the group is expected to be Garret Jr., a Kenpo fighter who will be dishing out a lot of punishment inside the game. Players will also be getting to know Katherine, a 24-year-old woman who worked as a stewardess before things started getting out of control, and the last of the bunch will reportedly be another African-American male named Keenan who has an affinity for comic books.

There will also supposedly be six campaign modes in "Left 4 Dead 3" as well as a new backpack system that players will have to figure out.

All of these are rumors, however, and they could end up being false not before long.

There are also questions as to whether or not "Left 4 Dead 3" could even be released, although the game is said to have a higher chance of coming out than "Half-Life 3," another famously anticipated sequel from Valve, according to Movie Pilot.

"Left 4 Dead 3" appears to be wrapped up in mystery now, although there remains hope that the game will be announced officially soon.
