Get ready for a new game from Turtle Rock Studios. The game developer responsible for the "Left 4 Dead" and "Evolve" franchises has announced the next game in its lineup.

Titled "The Well," the game is a turn-based fantasy role-playing game (RPG) to be launched solely for the Samsung Gear VR. Turtle Rock has described the game as a "classically designed RPG built distinctively for VR with a beautifully stylized, storybook art style and dark, dreamlike atmosphere."

This is not the first time that Turtle Rock has made a virtual reality game. The studio has made and released titles like "Face Your Fears," "Blade Runner 2049: Replicant Pursuit" and "Otherworlds."

In a statement to Gamespot, Turtle Rock General Manager Steve Goldstein said, "'The Well' is not only our most ambitious VR title to date, it is our most unique. We're excited to create a new, original fantasy world unlike anything we've seen before, and it's specifically crafted for the Gear VR platform. It's not just a fun game, it's beautiful. Gear VR is a medium that allows us to push the creative envelope and bring to life games we never thought possible."

"The Well" will put the player in a mysterious world called Tholl, which is filled with magic and fantastical beings. The player can choose any of the four classes: Warrior, Mage, Rogue and Druid. Each class has its own specific set of skills and abilities. The player will need to assemble a party of other characters and level up the group as the game goes along, unlocking more abilities in the process.

"The Well" will launch on Oct. 11 and will retail for $11. The VR game will launch on the inaugural day of this year's Oculus Event and will be playable there. The event is a gathering of engineers, designers and creatives from all over the globe to meet and push VR forward.
