'Legend of Korra' season 4 spoilers: Korra faces Kuvira in ultimate battle

"Legend of Korra" Book 4 Nickelodeon

The warfare between Avatar Korra and tyrant metalbender Kuvira will come to an end soon, as the Book 4 finale of the "Legend of Korra" is rapidly looming. In the upcoming two-part finale, all of Kuvira's schemes in seizing Republic City and everything Korra has done to stop him will culminate to this much-awaited mega-sized battle.

Nickelodeon will stream the finale in Nick.com by midnight of Dec. 19, from Thursday until Friday. The show implores all its fans to give up hours intended for a good night's sleep to the grand closing stages of the saga. By 12 a.m. EST, the end of "Legend of Korra" Book 4 will commence. The first part of the well-loved animated series's conclusion is titled "Day of the Colossus." The major wrap up of the show will be the episode titled "The Last Stand." Viewers can only look forward to the epic war that will determine the fate of Republic City.

Many media outlets know it is Korra's triumph after all. IDigital Times says that the avatar is not new to trouncing enemies and this colossal skirmish would not be any different. On the other hand, Screen Rant, as reverberated by IB Times, thinks that Aang's successor will give up her life for the sake of her loved ones and her endeared city. Whatever the direction the last two episodes of "Legend of Korra" will take, everything will be unfolded as the air date nears.

The official synopsis for the episodes reads: "Avatar Korra clashes face-to-face with Kuvira on the streets of the Republic City, which puts the fate of the Earth Kingdom and the world itself at risk once again."

A teaser was released for "Day of the Colossus" and it gives everyone a clue of the events subsequent to Kuvira's obliteration of Asami's factory via a spirit cannon.
