'Legend of Zelda' release date for Wii U not in 2015

The Legend of Zelda, one of the popular adventure games of Nintendo, will not be released anytime this year.

The announcement came from producer Eiji Aonuma who apologized to fans and gamers of Zelda, since the game has been pushed aside in what they claim is a move to create a more complete and ultimate Zelda game.

With that said, the delay could be good or bad, depending on how Zelda fans analyze this unfortunate announcement. However, the setback is seen to be simply something minor as the game development team looks into various possibilities which should make its eventual release something worth playing.

Zelda is a game that many adventurers have played dating back to the Nintendo Family Computer games but has so far been far from being a hit RPG offering when you talk about the abundant games now out in the gaming market segment.

Hence for now, Wii U gamers may have to satisfy themselves with the Zelda version which was originally released in June, 2014 during E3.

Back in December during the Game Awards, Aonuma and Zelda designer Shigeru Miyamoto did show off an expansive world as well as new combat tricks. Among them included Link leaping on his trusted steed Epona and then engaging in some archery.

Aonuma feels that they can do more to help improve the Legend of Zelda and summing up his explanation, the new ideas may need more time. He feels that a more objective and realistic approach would be better than trying to meet a deadline in order to deliver a quality game installment for a franchise name that has been around for some time now.

The reason behind the delay does seem reasonable and hopefully Aonuma and the Nintendo game developing team do make the setback worth it. A video of Eiji Aunoma's announcement can be viewed below:
