Despite the rumors saying that the newest "Legend of Zelda" game will be delayed even more for its Wii U version, it still stands that the game be released by March 2017.

According to Game N Guide, the rumors of this game's delay are due to the fact that it will also be released for the mysterious Nintendo NX console as well. After all, it has been reported that the Nintendo NX will be released along with "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" as one of its first games, adding more and more hype among the fans that are waiting for the release of both.

Furthermore, Eiji Aonuma, the creator of this series has announced back in E3 that the gamers should really look forward to the new game because it will certainly offer a lot of things in the same way "The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time" was able to do. He even went so far as to say that "The Ocarina of Time" is the company's base when it comes to their secret recipe for the upcoming "Legend of Zelda" game.

However, it goes without saying that the developers will have it changed drastically to offer a new kind of gaming experience for players, sort of comparable to serving Continental dishes after giving Japanese food. As such, in the report made by Master Herald, Aonuma ensures fans that they will be pleasantly surprised by what the new game will offer.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was first announced as early as 2013 for the Wii U. Actually, a lot of fans are disappointed after not witnessing its debut by E3 2015, since rumors pointed out that it was likely for it to be released by that time. However, with it getting confirmed by March 2017, Nintendo is pretty sure that fans can forgive them for delaying the game for so long.
