Rip Hunter was successful in eradicating Vandal Savage in the previous "Legends of Tomorrow" installment but come year 1980, the immortal tyrant will rise once more to continue his horrific mission to put the world to its end.

It looks like the team's mission is on the verge of ending quickly. In episode 4, titled "White Knights," the Time Master will be visited by his mentor Zaman Druce, who comes to convince him to return and stop playing hero.

"You've turned your back to the very institution you were meant to serve," Druce can be heard saying in the "Legends of Tomorrow" promo. "End this crusade and you'll be acquitted of all charges," he offered Rip.

It looks like Rip will be considering the offer and even asked his mentor what will become of his team if they decide to call off the mission right then and there.

Rip also tells the team that "it's time to decide if the future is worth saving."

The rest of the synopsis for "Legends of Tomorrow" episode 4 teases that the team will continue to track down Vandal by following him to the Soviet Union, where his next target is. The team members have their own tasks to complete.

To start with, Ray will attempt to get close to a beautiful Soviet scientist named Valentina Vostock in order to learn what Vandal will be up to next. However, it does not look like Valentina will be swayed by her fellow scientist, prompting Snart to save the day.

It appears that Captain Cold has a way with the ladies because in the "Legends of Tomorrow" episode 4 sneak peek, and Valentina is seen leaning to him for a kiss. It remains to be seen if he will be able to get some information out of his new girl as well.

Meanwhile, Stein's method of pushing Jax to be better poses a threat to the Firestorm matrix while Kendra begins her training with Sara. "Legends of Tomorrow" episode 4, "White Knights," airs Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
