Fans only knew of the formation of a motley crew when "Legends of Tomorrow" was first announced. But thanks to the panel presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con, more details about the highly-anticipated "The Flash" and "Arrow" spin-off were revealed. The first spicy information involves the hot-headed superhero merger, Firestorm.

It was always asked why Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), the other half of Firestorm, won't be in the spin-off but Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) will be. Although executive producer Phil Klemmer didn't confirm, Franz Drameh's Jay Jackson may simply end up being the other half of Firestorm. Klemmer said, as quoted by Comicbook, that Jay Jackson is "probably the last person Professor Stein wants to share Firestorm with," but he did hint the possibility.

Meanwhile, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said that "Legends of Tomorrow" will be set up by the first episodes of "Arrow" and "The Flash," which means that Sara Lance's resurrection as White Canary could be shown in one episode. The shows' crossover by the end of the year will also set the stage for the new series.

Caity Lotz, who portrays Sara, said that there will be consequences and changes in her personality after taking a dive into the magical waters of the Lazarus Pit. The actress hopes, as quoted by Deadline, that her character will "go nuts off her rocker."

While Hawkgirl will be big in the series, it turns out Hawkman will show up in the super-charged series, too. On the other hand, Wentworth Miller, who plays Captain Cold, told TV Line that the villain will struggle to work with this ragtag group, adding it will be a "bumpy ride" for him.

The main antagonist in the spin-off series, Vandal Savage, is an immortal. The gang will fight him in different timelines but they have to make sure that apart from beating him, they also heed the consequences and changes that come up every time they make a move.
