The upcoming TV series "Legends of Tomorrow" is set to bring together superheroes and supervillains to achieve one goal, and that is to stop an impending threat. One of the characters set to be introduced is Hawkman, presumably to aid Kendra Saunders become Hawkgirl. But according to Entertainment Weekly, the show won't be where the superhero will make his first appearance.

The site says that the winged vigilante, also known as Carter Hall, will appear in both "Arrow" and "The Flash" first. The hero is described as "charismatic and wise beyond his years" and a "natural-born leader with an abundance of charm and confidence."

When "Legends of Tomorrow" and its parent series welcome Hawkman, he will be about 5,000 years old. In the comics, his memories of his previous lives remain intact even upon taking on a new one. He is also a love interest to Hawkgirl, who most probably won't know who Hawkman is, at least at first.

According to Screen Rant, Hawkman will appear in search of the reborn Hawkgirl and relay news to Kendra Saunders of her superhero resurgence. The publication adds that Hawkgirl will at least be introduced in "The Flash" the same way the White Canary will come to life in "Arrow."

As for White Canary, executive Marc Guggenheim recently revealed to E! Online when Sara will become the reborn assassin who will join the heroes and villains in "Legends of Tomorrow" to stop Vandal Savage.

"The White Canary will be launched in the first few episodes of 'Arrow.' 4×08, our typical crossover episode, will be doing a lot of heavy-lifting in terms of getting 'Legends of Tomorrow' characters set up and also seeing where they are with relation to 'The Flash.' It's a big episode," he said.

For a while now, there have been speculations that there will be repercussions and changes in Sara's personality after being reborn. However, there is no information to what extent the healing waters of the Lazarus Pit will change the assassin.

"Legends of Tomorrow" is slated to premiere early next year.
