Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and the rest of the legends will go back in time to warn the Union Army about an odd group of Confederate soldiers in the next episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

The trailer for the episode called "Abominations" revealed that the superheroes will have to go back during the Civil War period to prevent an altercation between the Union Army and an unexpected horde of zombies dressed as Confederate soldiers.

The promo video showed that Sara (Caity Lotz) and Nate (Nick Zano) will arrive unannounced in the camp of the Union Army. But the pair will not be welcomed with open arms. The two will also have a hard time explaining to the soldiers how different the Confederate zombies are to their past enemies since zombies are still unknown during that time.

However, according to the synopsis for the episode that was posted on Comic Book Movie, the legends will come up with a plan to help the Union Army fight the undead. "With the Civil War outcome hanging in the balance, Jax (Franz Drameh) must participate in a daring mission by going to a slave plantation with Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers)." But will they manage to make the plan work before the zombies defeat the human soldiers?

Meanwhile, members of the team are also having their own personal struggles in the next episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" season 2. According to the spoiler, Sara will start to feel the pressure about each decision that she has to make as the leader of their group. On the other hand, Ray (Brandon Routh) will have troubles contemplating on his purpose in the team. Will this affect the outcome of their upcoming battles in the episode?
