Episode 9 of the third season of "Legends of Tomorrow" will be airing in just a few days. With it being the midseason finale episode, fans can definitely expect a big cliffhanger coming up.

A trailer for the show's midseason finale has just recently been released. Fans will see the team finding themselves in Norse mythology as they battle it out with the Vikings in an attempt to suppress the latter's invasion. This is especially heart-racing for fans coming from the loss of one team member on the show, Martin Stein, because of the apparent leave of the actor Victor Garber. While many have already seen it coming, it still came as a surprise since the team is about to enter a war without, arguably, their best member.

The trailer released for the show by CW network, fortunately, contained some synopsis for the episode. "The Legends realize that the Norsemen are worshipping an artifact as their god and are surprised by the artifact's origin," reads a part of the synopsis. "For the first time, Sara (Caity Lotz) is worried that they might need back up when Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) shows up."

The synopsis continues by saying that Jax (Franz Drameh), with the loss of Stein, has found a loophole that could change history forever. He may just be trying to bring Stein back in some way. Although fans know that this seems quite impossible since Garber has mentioned back in September he will be leaving the series, it is still interesting to see what Jax would do.

According to Bleeding Cool, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) might just make an appearance in the show to help ending the midseason finale. However, this has not yet been confirmed. Since coming from "Crisis on Earth X" crossover as well, Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) may also appear in the next episode.
