'Legends of Tomorrow': Major spoilers from Comic-Con 2015

DC's Legends of TomorrowCW

"Legends of Tomorrow" was showcased at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 with the cast and crew present at the panel, dishing some information about the upcoming series. The first thing that they made clear is that "Arrow" and "The Flash" will set the table first for the numerous characters before they team up in the new show.

A resurrected Canary, Captain Cold and Heat Wave, Atom, and Hawkgirl will still be doing their own thing, but during the first half of the next seasons of "Arrow" and "The Flash," these characters will be positioned so that they can all join together mid-season when "Legends of Tomorrow" is launched.

The team will have to deal with Vandal Savage, an immortal who has been around for thousands of years. The group will have to fight him across different time periods. According to the members of the panel, the show will also delve into what consequences may occur when they meddle with events across different time periods and dimensions of reality.

Hawkman was also revealed to be in the series but no announcement has been made regarding who will play the character or if he will play a major role. The series already has Hawkgirl, played by Ciara Renee.

Caity Lotz, who plays Sara Lance aka White Canary, also confirmed that she will be revived via the Lazarus Pit and that in doing so, her character will go through big changes.

"The person who goes into the pit isn't necessarily the same person that comes out," she explained. "There's consequences to that.... I want Sara to go nuts."

This brings to mind the events surrounding Thea Queen's resurrection in "Arrow" season 3. She was killed and later revived with the Lazarus Pit, but doing so had almost driven her insane and psychotically violent.

According to the panel, White Canary will be the most dangerous member of the team since she has no fear of death and is positioned as one of the main members, alongside Brandon Routh's Atom.
