A thrilling trailer for "Legends of Tomorrow," the hotly-anticipated spinoff of The CW's mega successful DC Comics-adapted series "Arrow" and "The Flash," has finally touched down. It lets fans have a first look at the new super-powered posse set to travel through time and save the future from new baddies who, as seen in the new footage, likes to blast everything.

The clip shows the Arrow and The Flash assembling the unlikely members of the newfound group tasked to save the world from the immortal Vandal Savage, who has congregated for himself "a powerful army the world has ever seen." The pair of heroes, who have established partnership in taking care of both Starling and Central City, admits that they could use some help.

The trailer marks Captain Cold's transition from a dastardly criminal to a world's legend — an idea he so immensely detests. Fans also get to see Hawkgirl for the first time as well as time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter, who accompanies the team in the time-bending adventure.

It is also the first time fans finally confirm that the Canary is back with a new garb. Caity Lotz, whose character was killed off in "Arrow," was brought back to life with the Lazarus Pit. Now, "Legends of Tomorrow" has an assassin to rely on.

Also, the big bombshell in the trailer is The Atom's ever-developing technology, which has grown so vast that it now allows him to shrink at will. Then there's Dr. Martin Stein and his other "combustible" half helping out in crime-fighting.

"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere early next year. On the other hand, "The Flash" and "Arrow" will be back for their respective new runs on the same timeslot.
