The final DLC pack for "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" is now available, with new features, characters, and storyline. The pack captures the team of infamous villains of the DC franchise – the Suicide Squad – in action. This group of super villains was introduced in DC Comics in 1959, doing black ops work for the government.

However, since the game is from Lego, with kids as their primary market base, the DLC is simply known as "The Squad," and will feature playable characters such as Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, El Diablo; Katana, and King Shark, among others. Gamers can also play as a revamped Harley Quinn or be Amanda Waller, the team handler.

The story follows the group as they try to make their way through Belle Reve Penitentiary and track down an unknown figure, gaining access surreptitiously. Players must stop and defeat this mysterious figure before their group is discovered. Along the way, players can discover new missions, and unlock vehicles and minikits.

In addition, purchase of "The Squad" also allows players to unlock the "Heroines and Villainesses" pack, for free. This downloadable content is slated to be available in North America beginning March 31 for PS4 and PS3; but Xbox 360 and One, and PC users will have to wait until April 1 for the free content.

In this free add-on, players will unlock DC's heroines and female villains. The roster includes Killer Frost, Raven, Starfire, Plastique, Vixen, and Terra.

The final DLC to be released, "The Squad" is the sixth in line, following "Bizarro World" which was released early this year. The other parts earlier released were "Man of Steel," "Dark Knight," "Batman 75th," and "Arrow." The DLC is available as a standalone download for $2.99, or part of the title's season pass, which gives access to all DLC packs, for $14.99.
