Leaks of a new Lenovo smartphone, that analysts are claiming to be the Lenovo K5 Note, have come out after a Chinese telecommunications certification authority agency listed the smartphone online.

In Chinese agency Tenaa' website, a listing of a new Lenovo smartphone with the model number K52t38 was spotted showing design and features of the upcoming handset. Though unconfirmed, analysts believe that the smartphone now being built is the Lenovo K5 Note.

Users will remember that it has only been a week since the China-based phone manufacturer released the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note was launched, and Lenovo fans are looking to the successor of the freshly launched smartphone as early as now.

The Lenovo smartphone with model number K52t38 will sport a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, and will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The smartphone will launch with the Android 5.1 Lollipop firmware, which the K4 Note also currently runs on.

Two variants will launch for the smartphone memory-wise: one with 32 GB internal memory and 4 GB RAM; and another with 16 GB inbuilt storage and 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone will also support 4G LTE connectivity.

The cameras of the listed smartphone are a 13-megapixel back-side camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. A 3500mAh battery will power the device.

For comparison, the recently launched Lenovo K4 Note sports a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3 GB of RAM. The phones makes use of a 13-megapixel back-side camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and also has a fingerprint scanner. The handset can be purchased at Rs. 11, 998 or $177.

If rumours are proven to be true, and the Lenovo K5 Note is indeed being manufactured, users could be looking at a possible end of the year launch for the handset.
