Supposedly, Lenovo will launch its next mid-range follow-up next week. Meanwhile, it is said that the upcoming Lenovo P2 will be a co-release, with a simultaneous launch with the rumored Moto M.

According to TechDroider, Lenovo is supposedly planning to launch the P2 in a press event scheduled on Nov. 8. Meanwhile, the new mid-range iteration will co-launch with the Moto M, a new entry by Lenovo to its acquired Motorola lineup.

The two releases share similar specs, although it is said that the Moto M will launch exclusively for China. The P2, on the other hand, was already announced back at the year's IFA event, so it is expected that next week's release will also be a global launch.

Both the Lenovo P2 and the Moto M are expected to come out with a Snapdragon 625 processor, a base model with 3 GB/32 GB RAM/storage option, and a step-up variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The supposed leak also mentions a massive 5,100 mAh battery for the Lenovo P2, and it is yet to be revealed if the same feature will be present for the Moto M.

However, the Lenovo P2 will have step-down features as well, since it is said that it will only feature a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie setup. The Moto M, on the other hand, will sport a 16 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter.

Meanwhile, there are other leaks that say Moto M, as a China exclusive, will feature a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset instead. It is also rumored that it will come out paired with 4 GB of RAM, and its onboard storage will have 64- and 128-GB configurations. In addition, the supposed leak also lists a 3,000 mAh battery, a standard in many mid-range handsets, although much smaller in capacity than the reported 5,100 mAh battery for the Lenovo P2.
