It is said that Lenovo is scheduling a simultaneous launch for the Lenovo P2 and Moto M next week. Speculations suggest that while the Moto M will be another new Moto entry, Lenovo will be integrating its own brand into the fold, making the Vibe P2 the last in the Lenovo Mobile series.

According to GizmoChina, an interview with Lenovo Group CEO Yang Yuanqing had the executive admit that the mobile business for the company will be fully integrated into the Moto brand. This means that it is likely that the upcoming Lenovo P2 may be the least in the lineup, hence the co-release event with the Moto M.

Although he did not confirm this rumor, the executive clarified that the integration will take some time, and more details will be furnished in the future. However, it is likely that the CEO is hinting on the processes for the business end. Moreover, it is unclear if the integration will only be for the main Lenovo Mobile lineups like the Vibe, or if it will also include Lenovo's sub-brands like the ZUK series of phones.

As for the Lenovo P2, it is said that the release of the iteration will be on Nov. 8, simultaneous with the announcement of the Moto M. It is said that the event is likely already the global launch for the Vibe follow-up, since the Lenovo P2 has already been announced earlier this year at the 2016 IFA trade show.

Although from different Lenovo brands, both the P2 and Moto M are said to come out with similar specs. Under the hood, the new iterations are supposed to come out with a Snapdragon 625 processor, a base model with 3 GB/32 GB RAM/storage option, and a step-up variant with 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage. Supposed leaks also mention a massive 5,100 mAh battery for the Lenovo P2, although it doesn't say if the same feature will be present for the Moto M.
