In the next episode of "Lethal Weapon," Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) deals with his childhood friend Jake Voss (Linds Edwards), who may be involved in a robbery-murder investigation.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Gold Rush" was just released recently and showed Riggs telling his partner Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) about his friend from his youth. "When I was at my weakest, Jake saved my life," the cop recalls from his past. However, it seems that Riggs may have realized that his good friend may be involved in a robbery-homicide case that they are investigating. Riggs crashes his truck into Voss's convertible which swings around violently. He then rushes to Voss and drags him out of the car. Riggs appears angry and conflicted because his suspect is a close buddy. "Let me go," Voss says to him as they cling to each other's necks. In the last minute, Riggs sets him loose with hesitation as his friend gets away scot-free.

"Why did you let him go?" Murtaugh shouts at Riggs with consternation. It appears he is letting his friendship get in the way of solving the case. Back at headquarters, Murtaugh pulls Riggs aside and asks him seriously, "Tell me, what do you owe this dude?" It remains to be seen why Riggs seems to be more loyal to Voss than to solving their investigation.

In the last episode, the duo solved the murder of a gambler named Howard (Craig Ricci Shaynak). Apparently, he overheard some cops planning to rob a bank and threatened to report them unless they gave him money. He got eliminated but Riggs and Murtaugh were able to catch his killers in the end and were consequently brought to justice.

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 6 will arrive on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
