There's now more Lollipop to taste. Factory images for the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10 have landed and they are bound to dress up the tablets with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, an imperative update that brings a whole host of fixes to bugs brought about by the previous builds of the operating system.

The factory images bring in Android 5.1.1 with build number LMY47V to the Wi-Fi editions of the Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 as well as the Nexus 10.This is the latest build of the operating system and it is not surprising that the first to get it are Nexus handsets.

Here are the links to the factory images of the 5.1.1 version of Android:

Another handset getting the Lollipop treatment is the LG G3 S. Although its high-end counterpart is always the one on the spotlight, this handset has not been forgotten by its maker. It looks like the LG G3 but with lower specs.

Android 5.0 has crossed the borders of Hungary and it won't take long before every owner of the LG G3 S will make the big jump to the new operating system. With the update onboard, the LG G3 S will get a taste of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with build number V20a.

GSM Arena believes that the LG G3 S should get newer builds like the Android 5.1 Lollipop although the media outlet is still unsure as to when that would happen. Google has started seeding the newer build to certain devices and is working on Android 5.1 Lollipop as well.

In the meantime, LG G3 S users in Hungary should enjoy improved performance and battery life with the new operating system. Android 5.0 Lollipop should endow it with the new Smart Lock feature, new notification and lockscreen settings, and several incremental bug fixes.
