LG G3 release date for Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T to be end of June

LG G3 handset will be available in the US by the end of the month, according to a report.

Android Origin reported that LG will be available for purchase in the United States by the end of June although the company has not announced a firm release date of the device. However, the basis of the report is T-Mobile's contest where they are giving away a free beta version of LG G3 every day until June 29. The phone is expected to be available by all major U.S. carriers - Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.

LG G3 will be available in more than 17 different countries. The device is already available in its own country South Korea last May 28. In UK, Carphone Warehouse will start taking preorders this month for its expected shipping date next month.

The report continued that the LG G3 will be available in two different variants – one is the 16GB model with 2GB of RAM and the other is a 32GB model with 3GB of RAM. Retailer in UK Clove stated that the handset will cost £499. In Australia, the device appeared with a retail price of AU$799. However, it is important to note that Korean version of the handset is available on eBay for $800 – $950.

Meanwhile, it is still unconfirmed how much the device will cost in the United States. However, it is sure enough that carriers will offer affordable and flexible plans, but it is still unconfirmed which carriers will offer LG G3.

According to reports, LG G3 packs a 5.5. inches screen display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. The handset will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 clocked at 2.3 GHz and 3,000 mAh battery capacity. At the back, the handset will sport a 13 megapixel camera. The smartphone will also run with the 4.4.2 version of Android operating system. LG G3 will be available in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants and will come with additional storage of up to 64GB via microSD slot.
