LG G4 not a fitting base model for Nexus 2015?

Now that the LG G4 is confirmed for an April 29 release in South Korea, Google may already be prepping for the Nexus 2015, which will reportedly be using the LG flagship as its base model. But recent reports claim that it won't be that easy.

Rumor mills are suggesting that due to the LG G4's underwhelming processor and features on the whole, the tech giant is considering finding another handset to build the Nexus 2015 on. Media outlets suggest that Google need not look any further as LG is rumored to release a more powerful device.

The LG G4 Note sounds like a pretty solid device to use. Unlike the LG G4 which is wrapped in plastic, the G4 Note is said to come slick with metal and glass. Furthermore, it will reportedly be outfitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, or a Snapdragon 820, if such exists by that time.

Contrary to these reviews, however, many believe that the Nexus 2015 will be better off following the LG G4. To others, the plastic clad does not matter as much as the device's 5.5-inch Quad HD display and stellar camera combinations. Touted to capture great images even with the faintest light on the scene, the LG G4's imaging package (a 16-megapixel rear-facing shooter and an 8-megapixel front camera) is proof that the Nexus 2015 will be a lovely device with the LG G4 as its base.

Add to that Google's enthusiasm in providing Nexus users an unfaltering on-the-go Internet connection and unremitting wireless service. The Nexus 2015 will also be a promising feat with an affordable price tag, which could give the next Apple iPhone a run for its money.

Whichever Google decides to go for, it looks like the Nexus 2015 will be a smartphone to wait for.
