The upcoming LG G4 Pro phablet was reportedly going to be the company's "super-premium" device, but LG CEO Koo Bon-Moo has since retracted the statement, according to iNews24 (translation via GforGames). Instead of high-grade all-around specs, the main selling point for the LG G4 Pro will be its powerful camera. 

According to the report, the device will feature a dual-camera set-up. With this, the phone will arguably be capable of taking images akin to the quality of any standard DSLR camera. If this proves true, then LG may be the first company to introduce the dual-camera design to the smartphone market. This design was reportedly going to be added to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, but Apple has since allegedly dropped the feature.

However, the G4 Pro has lost its "super-premium" label since it will not utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU. Also, it will reportedly still use a plastic housing instead of the rumored metal casing. While this indicates that the device lags behind the competiton in terms of overall physical qualities, it may help lower the unit's final market price. 

The report also says that the device will be released by the fourth quarter of this year. LG has not given any specifics on when the device will be showcased for consumers, although it is likely that the phablet will make an appearance in any of LG's major events before the year is over. 

According to a previous report, LG is allegedly planning on replacing their G-Line of devices with something more powerful, and this will become their new flagship series. With the G4 Pro losing its "super-premium" label, fans will still have to wait and see if there are other plans that will allow LG to compete with the likes of Apple's iPhone 6 and Samsung's Galaxy S6.
