LG G4 release date imminent: Invitations out for LG event April 28

Is this the invitation for the LG G4 release date?LG

After the long wait, LG fans might finally witness the highly anticipated release of the mobile manufacturer's latest flagship phone. The South Korean mobile and consumer electronics product company handed out the official invitation for an event to be held in six different locations worldwide, namely London, New York, and Paris on April 28, and in Seoul, Istanbul, and Singapore on April 29. Many tech enthusiasts believe that the event is for the launch of the LG G4.

Android Authority reported that the invitation looks like a notebook, and it comes with a tagline that says, "See the Great. Feel the Great," with an emphasis given on the letter G that looks the same as the logo of the famed LG G product line.

Although the South Korean company has not confirmed any of the rumored specs of the soon-to-be released smartphone, the most recent leaks claim that it will have a design that's slightly similar to the LG G3, its predecessor. It will also bear some semblance to the LG G Flex 2 that was revealed at the company's panel presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year.

Some rumors say that the upcoming device will have premium metallic casing, while others believe that the plastic build will remain.

Phone Arena also reported a recent GFXBench pass, which claims that the LG G4 will come with a 5.5-inch screen display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, as well as a 16-megapixel main shooter and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

But up to this moment, the South Korean brand has not confirmed nor denied any of the reports that have surfaced regarding the specs and classifications of the smartphone.
