New details about the alleged specs of LG's upcoming smartphone called the LG G4 are currently making the rounds online. 

A new rumor posted on MyLGPhone.com mentions that a credible source sent a screenshot of Verizon's website where a user who has a verified User Agent profile displayed the information of the LG-VS999. The website assumes that since the LG G3's model number is LG-VS985, the LG-VS999 could be the Verizon-exclusive LG G4. 

According to the post, the LG G4 will feature an exceptional resolution that can be as high as 3K (1620 x 2880 pixels). This could mean that the upcoming flagship device from LG would render one of the clearest and sharpest displays in the market. 

The LG G4 was earlier rumorerd to come with a 5.5-inch screen, which is the same size as its predecessor. It is expected that the total pixels per inch display of a device with a screen of that size could be up to 600 ppi. This is said to be way above the 401 ppi featured on Apple's iPhone 6 Plus as well as the 515 ppi on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's Super AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the LG G3 has 538 ppi, which seems to be way overboard for some users. 

There are also rumors claiming that the LG G4 will be released with sapphire crystal screen, which could also be featured in the alleged iPhone 7 of Apple Inc. 

Meanwhile, PhoneArena mentioned a report published over the weekend, which revealed that LG will not produce a stylus for their upcoming LG G4. The stylus is one of the most notable features of the LG G3, which means that removing it in the new flagship phone is an unexpected move from the company. 

The LG G4 is expected to be released during the MWC 2015 in March.
