One of the most anticipated releases for the coming year is LG's next flagship, the G5. If the recent rumors about the upcoming iteration are proven true, the G5 will come out not only as a premium smartphone but also as a high-end shooter. Reportedly, the LG G5 will have a dual-cam setup on its main camera.

According to GSM Arena, a new purported leak came out from Reddit. Reportedly, the user uploaded an image showing the LG G5's partially obscured back panel. What can be gleaned from the image is that the LG G5 apparently sports a dual-camera setup on the back. The industry follower stated that this dual-cam setup gives the G5 a 16-MP and 8-MP camera on its back.

The tipster also revealed other specs of the upcoming LG G5. Allegedly, the new flagship will run on a Snapdragon 820 chipset partnered with 3 GB of RAM. In addition, the LG G5 will also reportedly have a 5.3-inch Quad HD display, 8-MP front camera, and other options such as a SIM and microSD slot. There will also be a fingerprint sensor in the power button, as well as a heart sensor integrated in the camera assembly. To keep the G5's reportedly slim profile, the leak also added that it will come with a USB Type-C port.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena listed that the dual-cam setup on the back of the LG G5, aside from integrating a heart rate sensor, also has a color spectrum sensor and a laser autofocus module.

The industry follower also added that the LG G5 leak mentioned an IR blaster on the top and an apparent "pressure sensor." However, it is unclear if the feature might be referring to additional feature gauges like atmospherics, or if the feature is the rumoured "pressure-sensitive display," giving the LG G5 a 3D Touch-like screen.
