Liam Payne already dropped two singles, "Strip that Down" and "Bedroom Floor," from his much-awaited still untitled album, which fans have been long waiting to be out. The former One Direction band member revealed that his LP would be released in 2018, although he does not have the exact date yet.

In an interview with Metro, the 24-year-old star admitted that his new album is almost finished, but he wanted to change its style before he finally unveils it. "I decided I wanted to do something a bit different and push the boundaries," he said.

Payne explained that he had met new producers, and they will be adding a "ballad-y kind of thing" in the album. He even teased that they are going to reveal it with someone. In another interview with the Daily Star at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball, he added that this ballad song will collaborate with a "female guest vocal."

To recall, Cheryl Cole's partner previously revealed that he wanted to have Nicki Minaj on his new album. "I have a song that I think she could really smash," he said. He even described that the song he wanted her to sing is one of the first tracks he had written. "There is a little spot for her if she wants it."

Meanwhile, it looks like Payne's latest songs can be considered a little raunchy, but the father-of-one does not want himself to be over-sexualized. In fact, he also revealed to Daily Star that he had rejected a number of "explicit tracks."

The singer-songwriter said that he was sent with a lot of "suggestive songs." With that, he is afraid that people might connect the songs to him, which is why he is being more careful. There are even some lyrics that lead him to question if it would really "rock" his fans.
